The National Dairy Show 2018:
It’s back! Promising to be bigger and better than ever before the National Dairy Show is celebrating their 35th anniversary this year. So, whether you’re a farmer, cow handler or all round cow fanatic, the National Dairy Show on the 20th October, in Millstreet Co.Cork has something for everyone!
The National Dairy Show is one of Ireland’s premier livestock and agricultural indoor events. Showcasing Ireland’s Holstein Friesian and Jersey cattle, the event also offers a great collection of what the agricultural industry is all about.

The National Dairy Show also has a food village which is jammed packed with tasty treats and artisan eats, perfect to fuel this fun packed family day.
There will also be over 120 trade stands at this year’s show. All of which will focus to meet the requirements and provide solutions for present day farmers.

National Dairy Show Innovation Awards:
In true Herdwatch style our software is constantly evolving ensuring our App is as valuable as possible for our users. With Herdwatch version 5 released earlier this year. Our team recognised the National Dairy Show Innovation Awards as the perfect opportunity to showcase our new Farm Medicine Scanner feature.
In the past, recording farm remedies had always been a real struggle for farmers. That was until the Herdwatch app came along and made it so much easier to record not only remedies but feed as well. This year, we’ve built a smart bar code scanner into the Herdwatch app that allows farmers to simply scan their farm medicines into the App using the camera from their smartphone.

This is our 2nd year participating in the National Dairy Show Innovation Awards. We’re really looking forward to showcasing our Farm Medicine scanner especially, as were the first in our class to provide this software to our users.
